The Jacques Kluger Memorial Fund for Research into ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease .Maladie de Charcot

His fatal illness, a terrible one, is known as :
Lou Gehrig’s disease- Maladie de Charcot – known medically as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS.
ALS is rare — it strikes about five in 100,000 people and affects some 350,000 people world-wide.

In his memory, in 2000, his wife Adela and his 3 sons Jean,Roland and Ludo decided to launch at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem “the Jacques Kluger Memorial Fund for Research into ALS.”.

In 2011, we were proud and happy to be part of the funding that lead Prof. Gruenbaum’s research into “Factor in keeping genes “in good order& preventing disease”.
